One of the hardest aspects of success is motivation. No matter what point you are at in your life, there will always be days where it is hard to keep yourself enthused in whatever you’re doing. We call these days “off days”. And just like we all have our “off days”, we alwas remember we have our “on days” as well. Just because today is not the best, does not mean tomorrow will not be. It is important to never lose sight of your goals, no matter what day it is. In order to do so, you must remind yourself of the answers to a few of the questions we ask ourselves below:
Who are you now? Who do you want to become?
What are you going to do to reach your goals? What amount of work needs to be done to get you to where you want to be?
Where do you see yourself in the future? Where do you want to end up?
When is your starting point? When is your ending point?
Why do you want this for yourself? Why are you working toward these goals?
How are you going to get there? How will you guide yourself? How will you not give up?
Purpose and effort are what control success. Once you remind yourself of your purpose and put the effort into your task, you will fuel the passion you need and thus the motivation to keep moving forward. Bad days and good days come and go, but what should always remain constant is your confidence and persistence to keep moving forward.
